I think it is quiet funny how people say noobs quit when they get podded, I never did, I used to ninja mine jaspet in my noob ship in aurohunen. Those damm spvd guys killed off loads of my frigs...did I care? Hell no, cause I knew it was part of the Game...I moved on to Ennur to get podded by h4x0 (that ****ed me off slightley cause it was the original me and had no isurance on my rupture). Did I ever hold anything againtst these guys for doing it? No (well kinda to h4x0 )
What does make noobs leave is the constant monnie coddling they get from empire huggers, One of my alts is in an empire corp and what they say to new players nearly makes me sick, they talk about instantdeath in 0.4 and below, which is not trueat all. They put alot of emphasis on loosing ships, clones and implants when it is not such a big deal, as they are bought to be used and lost.
Most of the playerbase makes me sick, as they try to justify their selfish actions and their tiny cowardly backbones.
As for pirates having honour, well we honour our word, but dont try to rip us off or **** us over as YOU will come out worse. When i first read this thread I wanted to know who the rat was that had ripped Severed off as one bad rat gives us all a bad name. Now I see him for the worthless piece of crap he is, he tried to screw tank over and failed, imho it was no mistake over getting confused about ammounts, it was a really stupid delay tactic so that he could get away, well Im so glad it really turned out bad for you severed.
Players telling other players not to pay ransoms are usually the first to cry stop in local, all big and mouthy on the forums but are total pu$$ys ingame.
Id recommend every1 to pay a ransom, saying that you dont want to pay a ransome, because you would perfer to be out of pocket than the pirate gain anything just goes to show how stupid you really are. Gain for me is never about isk, its about fun, I get the same ammount of enjoyment out of blowing people to bits as roleplaying out a ransome. But, roleplaying out a ransome can be enjoyed by both parties and that is why I perfer it. I dont really mind people getting mad and angry at me, but I perfer it everyone has a good time, either winning or loosing.
